Aussie Rules Wrestling was one of the many small independent promotions operating out of Australia. After being bought out by Australian Pro Wrestling, it shut down. One of it's best stars was Debonair David Peterson, who was a regular champion and was managed by Sean Quartermainne. Both men went on to work in APW.
Aussie Rules Wrestling's product was very similar to APW's product, and APW took many of it's traits from ARW.
